Temperance commissions works to save people from the scourge of addiction to substances like drugs and alcohol, and brings them to freedom to experience Life in abundance (Jn. 10: 10). The KCBC Madyavirudha Samithy is functioning in 31 Catholic Dioceses in Kerala. The Temperance Movement works towards Demand reduction, Supply reduction and Risk reduction as related to substance abuse.
